Shadows of the Void 4th entry

Other characters:
“Well, that wasn’t very fun…”

Esmond stood within the training ground of Serenity Peak. A smug smirk across his facial features as a Pandaren Monk sat flat on his butt with several new bruises across his form. The Monk slowly rose from his seated position and bowed back towards the Warrior. Which, Esmond returns with a dip of his head. The Monk soon turned and made his way towards the edge of the arena. “C'mon, now-” Esmond’s arms opened as he addressed the entire room. “Any other challengers? I’m barely breaking a sweat here!”

Shadows of the Void 3rd entry

Character:
It was a beautiful day in the fall, the leaves were changing all around the abbey, tables were lined with food, and treats. Children frolicking around playing games for the harvest carnival. The orphans raised by the clergy never felt like burdens but on days like today, they really felt like there was not a care in the world. Ai'yalla was governing the game of bobbing for apples, she smiled and knelt down rubbing a towel over a rather plump young boy who was clearly smiling behind the apple clutched in his teeth. Dabbing at his face she gave him a warm smile, and opened her palm handing him a carved wooden horse. “Here is your prize, I hope it finishes off your collection.”

“Cwan I kweep -he appwe?!”

Laughing the golden haired Cleric nodded “Yes Jasper, and you can keep the apple.” With a woot, he swept the trinket from her palm and ran off. Rising to her feet, she ruffled his hair before he got too far away, however she was unable to ignore the looks on two of the priest across the courtyard from her, a look of horror and devastation on their faces. Ai'yalla walked down the line of awaiting children and found one of the older girls. “Iris, can you watch after the game? I need to see to something.” Before the girl could reply Allie walked away, knowing the girl agreed, she moved forward, her eyes fixed on the troubled pair.

*a baby crying*

Bell tossed in her bed, sweat beading on her head, grunting as she wrestled with her exhaustion to open her eyes. “Ho-Hold on…” She groaned twisting in the wrapped linnens that tangled around her. “I’m coming… Just-” she clattered to the floor ripping the drapes from the canopy that hung over her bed.

Calling

Character:
Other characters:

A squelch resonated as the blade cut deep into the corrupted creatures head... or at least Trayle suspected it was it's head. With a grunt she stomped on a reaching tentacle, attempting to grasp for her wrist. She couldn't blame it for it's last ditch effort at survival, the being couldn't have know it had decided today would be the end of it's existence when it chose her to be it's next meal. Her silver gaze narrowed as she watched it jerk and convulse, spasming it's last bit of energy before it's life was extinguished. Once it was still, she fell back, pulling her blade with her as she forced the thick air from her lungs, kicking the corpse from her with a hiss.

Through the Looking Glass

Character:
Other characters:

With his hands gripped on his staff, the old mage stood in the force field keeping an eye on the younger apprentices as they kept the city high above suspended. His old grey eyes fixated on the two hooded figures as they approaches, he didn't show any fear as the towering elves came even closer. In a silver kind voice he spoke to the new arrivals and bowed his head.

Flightless

Character:
Storyline:
Other characters:

Feathermoon Sentinels were a buzz, as the shift ended, the on duty warriors met in the mess hall for their dinner. Waiting in the tail end of the line was Mar'gah, her long nails rapped rhythmic against the steal plate as she waited for her turn, she was thin still very young, her white tresses braided neatly and draped over her shoulder, while her friend and training partner It'dalli was less composed, and seeming more fixated on the dinner than anyone else.

Steady Breath

Character:
Storyline:

"Damn twig..." Feathermoon Strong was far to close for her to make any added sound. Trayle moved smoothly through the forest of Feralas, all of her senses at a great height while she kept an eye out for Sentinels. She had strayed from Ovan and Elunaara, hoping that if someone was to see them she would be able snatch them before they could send out a warning that the Demon Hunter and the Betrayer had made their way to these lands.

Blindfolds and Scratches

Character:
Storyline:

The sunlight acted as a halo shining around Ovan while he sat on the edge of the bed dressing himself, Trayle laid on her side propped up on her elbow, draped in the sheet. She watched him silently, there was no more reasoning with him, he was set on what he -felt- he must do. Her mind drifted recalling what incited this splice, Ovan feeling he had to go on his own, sending his team of Druids off to go into hiding while he finished his training on his own.
